The Teacher’s Lounge is open to FAMU students who are passionate about education, teaching, mentorship, and making a positive impact in their communities. Whether you are pursuing a career in education or simply interested in supporting future educators, there is a place for you in The Teacher’s Lounge.

The Teachers’ Lounge Collegiate Collective is built around three core pillars: Informed, Involved, and Inspired. Through professional development, community engagement, and meaningful connections, TLCC provides future educators with opportunities to build their knowledge and skills, engage with the community, and connect with peers.

The Teacher’s Lounge provides opportunities to strengthen your résumé through leadership, community service, event planning, workshops, and organizational involvement. Members can take on leadership responsibilities, participate in service initiatives, and develop real-world skills that demonstrate their commitment to education and their community.

The TLCC Resource Library is updated biweekly with books, classroom tools, student resources, educational insights, and local opportunities.
